Which bags are the most environmentally friendly, and which are socially responsible? Questions that customers and users are quick to ask, but also ones that cannot be answered in a single sentence.

Let‘s find out what route our bags take.
Our bags are sourced from the manufacturing countries of China and India. All bags printed in Germany – as well as those printed for you in Asia – are transported by sea to Rotterdam on container ships, and from there our containers are brought by inland vessels along the Rhine to the port of Emmerich. From there, we transport it to our premises by truck for only another 25 km. As far as we can judge, this method of transportation couldn‘t be made any more environmentally friendly.

We make an impression – without the use of solvents.
We always print with eco-friendly and solvent-free plastisol inks according to the OEKO-TEX^® 100 Standard. The OEKO-TEX^® 100 Standard also applies to the fabric of all our bags, provided that they are free of zips, rivets or Velcro.

You can depend on it – certified quality in every bag.

OEKO-TEX^® 100 – certificate
We offer all of our cotton and non-woven bags with 100% OEKO-TEX® 100 Standard certification. That means the materials are free of harmful substances and environmental pollutants. See www.oeko-tex.com

BSCI (amfori) – certificate
Almost all of our bags are BSCI-certified. That means they comply with all labour and employment standards and an ethical code of conduct is observed. A good thing – for a good conscience.

What‘s more, Joytex^® has been working together with the same suppliers in Asia for more than 30 years. Due to this long-term collaboration, as well as the production and investment security this provides, good conditions have been established for workers at the production sites.

Environmental protection and ethical conduct have been a practised reality at Joytex^® for years, not just a passing fad.
