ORGANIC? FAIR TRADE? SOCIALLY RESPONSIBLE?
Which bags are the most environmentally friendly, which are socially responsible? Questions that customers and consumers are quick to ask, but which cannot be answered quickly.
We print - and we do it solvent-free.
We always print with environmentally friendly and solvent-free inks in accordance with OEKO-TEX® Standard 100, which also applies to the fabric of all our bags, as long as they are free of zips, rivets or Velcro.
You can rely on this - certified quality bag after bag.
OEKO-TEX® MADE IN GREEN certificate
Our wood fibre bags are OEKO-TEX® MADE IN GREEN certified. This is a traceable product label for all types of textiles that have been produced in environmentally friendly factories and in safe and socially responsible workplaces. The MADE IN GREEN label also gives consumers the certainty that the textile product is made from materials that have been tested for harmful substances. www.oeko-tex.com
OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 certificate
Our cotton bags and non-woven bags are OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 certified. This means that the materials used are free from harmful substances and environmental toxins. www.oeko-tex.com
FSC® and PEFC™ certificate
The basis for our EcoVero™ bags is cellulose from trees. A new and sustainable form of viscose. A "superstar" among fabrics in the textile industry. Manufactured by the company LenzingTM, whose forests fulfil the FSC® (C041246) and PEFC™ standards.
BIO cotton - certificate
In contrast to conventionally grown cotton, the plants for organic cotton must not be genetically modified. Furthermore, no pesticides or chemical fertilisers are used. The aim of organic cultivation is to maintain the fertility of the soil in the long term and to protect both nature and people. Harvesting by hand also ensures a very high quality of the fibres, which cannot be achieved by machine harvesting.
Global Recycling Standard certificate
The Global Recycled Standard (GRS) is a product standard that controls the composition of products made from recycled materials and ensures the traceability of recycled materials and verifies their composition.
BSCI (amfori) or SEDEX certificate
All bags are BSCI or SEDEX certified. This means that labour and social standards are complied with and an ethical code of conduct is taken into account.A good thing - for a clear conscience.See www.amfori.org or www.sedex.com.
